Who you gonna call... again?

In the "old franchises never die, they just get reinvented" department, remakes of Tarzan and Poltergeist weren't enough apparently as Ghostbusters is also in the works for a new shot in the franchise pocketbook.

Columbia Pictures has hired "The Office" co-executive producers Lee Eisenberg and Gene Stupnitsky to write a script that apparently would reunite the original cast of Harold Ramis, Bill Murray, Dan Ackroyd and Ernie Hudson. No word though on if the stars are interested in it or not. --09/08/08
